Air Marshall RD Mathur Visits Air Force Station, Kurseong

Air Marshal RD Mathur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, visited Air Force Station Kurseong on 18 December 2019. The Air Marshal was accompanied by Smt Shipra Mathur, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), Eastern Air Command. They were received by Group Captain Y K Bajaj, Station Commander and Smt Manisha Bajaj, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local).

On arrival, the Air Marshal was introduced to key personnel of the station. He was also briefed about the station and units as well as ongoing major projects. On his maiden visit to the station, the Air Marshal interacted with all personnel of the station. He exhorted them to remain operationally focused, physically fit, mentally agile in highest traditions of the IAF.

The Army Personnel were keen to listen to the Air Marshall.

 Smt Shipra Mathur, President AFWWA (R) presided over a meeting with ‘Vayu Sanginis’ of the station and showed keen interest in welfare activities of the station. She visited ventures, AF School, Medicare center and interacted with the staff.
