Happiness is a state of mind. With rapid digitisation, life has changed a lot but the impact on lifestyle has been prominent. Urban lifestyle has taken a toll on health. Depression has become a perception among millennials.
In such a scenario, Anshula Verma is leading a different path, which is an honest effort in transforming lethargic people to fit happy individuals. In fact, Anshula is India’s youngest happiness coach, life coach and a practitioner facilitator. In addition to that, she is the second youngest Indian to get the Transactional Analysis Certificate and holds the TTT Certificate i.e. Drama Based Facilitation Program as well.
Anshula is an entrepreneur too, and founder of HappyFit You. She works with college students, corporates, and conducts various workshops. She teaches the art of being happy, positive thinking, team building, leadership, fit living, time management, work-life management, living a stress-free life and the list goes on with the help of her activities and fitness programs.
Anshula says, “I was born in an army household. The perks, the social gatherings, the quality of education, the opportunity to see new places may all look like a dream life to many. But being an army kid is tough. While army life gave us a sense of pride, the unpredictable lifestyle sometimes took a toll on our emotional, physical, and mental health. I could have fallen prey to it too, had it not been for my passion for healthy living and positive thinking!”
Anshula loves dancing and is a trained Zumba instructor as well. The story behind the HappyFit You initiative has an interesting connection with dance. She recollects, “I love dancing. I switch to an entirely different mood when I dance. As a trained Zumba instructor, I found my happiness in dancing. I used to teach dance at a college. Little did I know that it would change someone’s life! One day, a girl came up to me and said that the activity brought a smile to her face after a long time. She had failed in her exams, which upset her parents. Her story moved me, and something tugged my heart. I realized it was time to start HappyFitYou – an initiative to bring happiness and fitness to people’s lives”.
Happiness and fitness are integral ingredients for a healthy life. In fact, these are the pillars of a perfect balance in life. Anshula’s efforts are commendable as she plays the role of a positive influencer in the lives of others. A highly optimistic Anshula signs off noting, “I may be known as India’s youngest happiness coach, but that’s just an epithet for me. I derive true happiness when I see my clients going back after the workshop happier and more energized”.
