Guwahati: It’s day 24 of Russia’s invasion and Ukraine continues to fight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskky has won hearts across the world for his extreme valour and strength. In order to “honour his valour and courage”, a Assam-based tea startup has named their latest brew of a “strong Assam black tea” after Zelenskky.
Aromatic Tea, an Assam-based start-up, has launched the tea when Ukraine is under Russian invasion. Ranjit Barua, the director of Aromatic Tea, told news agency PTI, that Zelenskky is a strong Assam CTC team.

“The basic idea is to honour the valour and courage of the Ukrainian president who rejected the US offer to escape the war-torn Ukraine. Zelenskyy said he does not need a free ride but ammunition. This shows his character,” Barua said.
“We are trying to draw an analogy between his character and valour and that of the Assam tea,” he said.
Netizens are all praise for the Assam company for launching the tea after the Ukrainian president.
Meanwhile, several present and former European politicians addressed the Norwegian Nobel Committee with a request to nominate Zelenskyy for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022, and for this reason extend the nomination procedure until March 31.
“We therefore humbly call upon you, the Committee, to consider: Extending and thereby re-opening the nomination procedure for the Nobel Peace Prize until March 31, 2022 to allow for a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine,” the statement, dated March 11, said.
The politicians also called on the committee “to re-open and reconsider the 2022 nomination procedure for the Nobel Peace Prize,” according to the statement.
This year’s Nobel Prize announcements will take place from October 3-10. As many as 251 individuals and 92 organizations applied for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize.
