In an era, when most people are concerned regarding a balanced diet, there are hardly few restaurants in Kolkata which look to provide healthier food options for kids. In other words, parents don’t have the option and have to order food from the adult menu for their kids. Kids menu categorically implies food that is exclusively made for the kids, right from calorie intake to other health and taste parameters. Thankfully, Chowman which presents a hallmark of true & authentic Chinese cuisine with a minimal pocket pinch has introduced a fun-filled KIDS MENU to promote healthier food options for kids.
The occasion was graced by the presence of eminent film director & singer Anindya Chatterjee and his son Aahir along with leading playback singer, music director and the lead vocalist of Band Fossils, Rupam Islam and his son Rup.
The kid’s menu will set the stage for a dramatic play and interesting yet healthier eat out for the kids. The menu has a wide range of dishes named after their favourite cartoon characters like Peppa Pig, Donald Duck, Doremon, Tweety Bird, Nemo Fish, to Spider-Man & Simba. No doubt, the kids will love to see their favourite cartoons printable menu, and enact to ordering and eating the fun and healthy way thereafter.
Leaning on the kids’ favourite characters, currently, the menu has thick sweet corn soup, long noodle soup, noodles or rice with fresh vegetables, crispy chicken, crispy fish and corn, steamed dim sum, healthy fruit bowl and brownie. It goes without any saying that menu has been curated keeping in mind about providing the right amount of nutrition to the kids. Added to that, the dishes will be served in customised crockery & cutlery and we will also provide bibs for their comfortable eating.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Debaditya Chaudhury, MD, Chowman Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. said, “I have always wanted to do something for the kids and what better way to make them feel special than introducing a menu only for them. The little ones are always deprived of choosing their own food. Therefore, I thought of giving them a special feeling from a customized kids menu to different crockery and cutlery. My daughter is fascinated by these cartoon characters and from there I got this idea of naming the dishes after these characters. I am sure the kids will love and enjoy the food.”
