Actor-producer Farhan Akhtar tied the knot for a second time, with former VJ Shibani Dandekar, on Saturday in Khandala near Mumbai. Yesterday, a video of actor Hrithik Roshan, who was one of the guests at the wedding, surfaced online, in which he is seen dancing with Farhan to the tune of the superhit song ‘Senorita‘ from the 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, directed by Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar and starring both Farhan and Hrithik alongside Abhay Deol.
The fan account which shared the video of Farhan and Hrithik dancing to Senorita had this to say about it, “Imran & Arjun recreating ZNMD’s Senorita dance at Farhan Akhtar’s wedding is so…(emojis)”
In Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Farhan and Hrithik play old friends named Imran and Arjun respectively, whose relationship is marred by an incident from their past. One fan commented on the video, “So wholesome,” while another said, “Friendship goals.” Yet another fan wrote, “Arjun and Imran always.”
In a second video from the wedding, posted by a fan account on Saturday, Farhan is seen dancing with wife Shibani to the song ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, the title track of the film of the same name directed by Farhan in 2001. Hrithik was also spotted grooving to the song, at one point, as he hugged filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who was also part of the wedding guest list.

The wedding took place at Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar’s Khandala home Sukoon on Saturday. It was attended by, among others, Farah Khan, Satish Shah, Ashutosh Gowariker and Ritesh Sidhwani. Shibani’s sisters Anusha and Apeksha Dandekar and her best friend Rhea Chakraborty were also in attendance.
The news about the couple’s wedding was confirmed by Javed Akhtar. In an interview with Bombay Times, Javed said, “Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain (the rest of the preparations for the wedding) that is being taken care of by the wedding planners.”
On Thursday, Farhan and Shibani celebrated their mehendi ceremony in Mumbai. The venue for the event was Farhan’s Mumbai home and the guest list included Farhan’s stepmother Shabana Azmi, Anusha, Rhea, and former actress Amrita Arora, among others.
