Every year, 14th November is observed as World Diabetes Day all over the world. The Howrah City police in association with Howrah town Diabetes Study Research Society organised an Awareness Programme on Diabetes at Shibpur Police lines. Shri Gaurav Sharma, Howrah Commissioner of Police along with senior officers and a large number of police personnel, Home guards, Civic Volunteers and their families attended the programme. Blood Sugar test, Uric acid test and other medical tests were also conducted.
