The Howrah Police Commissionerate, on Tuesday (October 15), conducted a special drive by eight Traffic Guards at important crossings and strategic locations of the Howrah City Police area against violation of traffic rules and regulations, especially by two-wheelers. Moreover, driving licences of the offending drivers/ riders were revoked, following a directive by the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety. The offending drivers also attended an awareness class at the HPC Traffic HQ.
