At a time when the world, and especially the nation, is facing one of the worst phases of economic downturn, it is imperative to manage one’s funds properly. And it is reassuring to have knowledge of — and easy access to — one’s investment portfolio. Most investors in India are still unsure about the stock market and mutual funds. So, artificial intelligence-driven advice would be an added advantage here, too.
Kredent InfoEdge Pvt. Ltd, a leading Kolkata-based FinTech company, launched its goal-based financial planning app, Kredent Money, at a seminar on stock markets organised by the company in association with Motilal Oswal. The seminar was conducted by ace investor Ramesh Damani, followed by the launch of Kredent Money. The event was also addressed by Kredent InfoEdge founder Vivek Bajaj and Chandan Taparia, Motilal Oswal’s market expert.
Initially, Kredent Money will be offering goal-based financial advisory and transactions in mutual funds and gradually add other financial instruments. The app will be available on both the iOS and Android platforms. Users can share their financial goals and receive personalised artificial intelligence (AI)-driven advisory for free.
The app will recommend investments in regular plans of all categories of mutual funds, including equity and debt schemes. The app also offers users to choose from such plans as Education, Marriage, Be Wealthy, Vacation, Car, Buy a Home and Start Business. One can start investing in the plan of their choice from within the app. Kredent Money is registered with the Association of Mutual Funds in India.
‘A completely transparent system’
‘Kredent Money is a completely transparent system. You can track and manage your investments from within the app. And what’s more, it contains knowledge content for users to learn about goal planning for free’
— Ramesh Damani, Pre-Series A investor in Kredent InfoEdge
