The Ordnance Factories (OFB) are organizing the first-ever conference with workers from all the factories on the 11th and 12th of January 2020 at the National Academy for Defence Production (NADP) Ambajhari, Nagpur.

The event called SAMVAAD – 2020 aims to focus on themes important for the transformation of the Ordnance Factories into a modern, business-oriented organization.

These themes deal with the challenges of the changing business environment, a focus on the quality of products to gain competitive advantage, branding, customer focus, productivity and cost competitiveness and aim to establish a direct ongoing dialogue with the employees at all levels.
The employees were addressed by Shri Hari Mohan, Director General Ordnance Factories and Chairman Ordnance Factories Board where he outlined the issues facing the Ordnance factories.

The Ordnance Factories are a 219 years old organization which has been supplying arms, ammunition and other battlefield related equipment to the armed forces. The supplies of the Ordnance Factories have been of crucial importance in every skirmish, battle and war fought by the armed forces
