People you meet socially do not watch your show: Vivian Dsena

Mumbai: Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actor Vivian Dsena prefers doing his work and goes straight back home, one of the reasons why he is considered a recluse. Vivian Dsena has no qualms in accepting that he is not a social person and loves being the way he is.

“What people point out as a trait is actually my habit. I love being a recluse, I’m not a social person at all, I don’t feel the need. I’m a decent achiever in the industry but never been a party-goer. I even like home-cooked food over ordering food from outside. Also, you cannot link my hard-earned success with social life. Trust me, people you meet socially do not watch your show,” says the actor, whose popular shows include Kasamh Se, and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

However, Vivian Dsena isn’t an introvert. “I’m definitely not an extrovert but I’m good and happy in my space. I don’t make any conscious decisions, or conscious moves or think I need to be a certain way just to have an image, the thing is I have a very limited circle and those are the people I am around. I have designed myself to live this kind of life and love it this way, it’s peaceful,” he adds.

While the popular TV actor has been taking precautions and following norms, he says that staying cooped up at his home is not tough for him at all.

“For people, it was tough to be home, but I already loved being at home so the lockdown was like a holiday for me from everything. It hasn’t affected me much, but of course we did not work for so long and it has affected everyone financially, and also affected us in many other ways,” says the actor, who is happy to be back on the set.

Vivian also does not think he has changed a bit since he began his career. “I still have the same friends from the last 20 years. If you change, the first thing is your friends go away. So, I would continue to be the way I am, and let my work do the talking,” he concludes.
