Mumbai: If you were born in the 90s, then you must have grooved to the popular Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon track ‘Shaire Mein Ho Gaya Deewana’ from 1996 Vijeta. Cut to 2022. The duo is all set to rekindle the chemistry in a romantic comedy, titled Ghudchadi. Ghudchadi goes on floor in Jaipur today.
Of course, ‘Baba’ (as Sanjay is popularly known in Bollywood) fans will know that the duo will be seen sharing screen in the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 2.
On Wednesday, the makers took to Twitter to share series of pictures from the mahurat day on the set of Ghudchadi. Produced by T-Series and Keep Dreaming Pictures, the upcoming rom-com is directed by Binoy Gandhi.
Alongside the iconic pair of the 90s, Ghudchadi also features Khushalii Kumar and Parth Samthaan. A popular television face, Parth became a household name post the TV serial Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan where he played the character of Manik Malhotra.
For Parth, it is indeed a big day. He took to Instagram to share the news of his big Bollywood debut and that, too, alongside Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon.
“Announcement and it had to be a Big one yesDreams do come true @tseriesfilms and @keepdreamingpictures_ presents GHUDCHADHI (sic),” he wrote and shared the teaser of Ghudchadi.

On Tuesday, Sanjay announced that he is part of Ghudchadhi on Instagram. He shared a picture where he is seen sitting in a garden and doing yoga while a clapboard reading Ghudchadhi was held in front of him.

This Binoy Gandhi’s directorial is a rollercoaster ride full of fun, romance, and drama. Gandhi has penned the story with Deepak Kapur Bhardwaj.
Now will the hit jodi of the ‘90s be able to recreate the chemistry in Ghudchadi? Well, we will have to wait till the rom-com releases.
