As a mother of a weak, or unwell child, you may be worrying about sending your kid to school, but staying at home does not help, either. This can result in your child falling behind the other students in class. But, now, you can breathe easy and send your child to school safely.
Docterz at School, a brand under Docterz created by a group of paediatricians, has taken the franchise route to associate with schools and various institutes across India. Comprehending the fact that a child spends most of his or her time at school, the brand recognizes the importance of providing first-rate healthcare on their premises. This helps amplify the children’s well-being while they are away from home.

Various services are offered under the franchise model of Docterz at School. The brand is setting up a medico-legal-compliant infrastructure, or a fully equipped medical room on school premises, deploying trained paramedical staff, creating detailed SOPs, escalation matrices, emergency management guidelines and managing the set-up daily. Besides, they are also conducting health screening programmes that focus on the physical, mental and psychological health of schoolchildren.
Docterz at School is already operating in association with a couple of educational organisations across various cities, such as Siliguri, Patna, Aurangabad, Jalna, Osmanabad, Vapi and Palanpur to name a few. This initiative will soon reach out to more cities, such as Jhunjhuni/Sikhar, Indore, Bhopal, Nanded/Parbhani and Guwahati by year-end.
The objective of this franchise is to reach 1.2 billion children or students via schools at a pan-India level so that every child can avail of proper health safety measures. This step has been undertaken with the aim of pursuing a social cause and create awareness that the healthcare and safety of a child does not end at home.
‘Holistic healthcare of children across India’
‘The primary agenda behind coming up with Docterz at School was to set up holistic healthcare units for students. After associating with approximately 30 schools in Mumbai, we thought of expanding our reach and targeting maximum schools and institutes countrywide. With the goal of assisting as many children as possible, the utmost priority is given to health during school hours’
