Kolkata: From showcasing their haute couture at the 7th season of the New York Fashion Week to participating at Lakme Fashion Week, the students of INIFD Salt Lake, Kolkata has always made the city proud of their craftsmanship. So, when the premier fashion institute celebrated its 26 glorious years of success, the students upped their game at the in-house fashion show.

It has been a good year so far for INIFD. The students have already participated in two grand events, Lakme Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. “Our talented students displayed their ability through innovation and creativity. Their hard work and determination paid off and they successfully showcased their artistic capability in front of the world,” said Arnab Roy of INIFD.
Fashion design student Sinjita Chakraborty won a direct entry to the Lakme Fashion Week by winning the ‘Launchpad event’ in the ‘Design Festival 6’. In fact, INIFD Salt Lake has been winning the Launchpad event for the past three years. That’s not all.

The students have been showcasing their collection at New York Fashion Week for four consecutive years.
