Workshop conducted to improve lives of Maharashtra prison staff

A workshop to counsel Maharashtra State Prison Department officers and staff was conducted at the Daulatrao Jadhav Training Centre, Yerawada, in Pune, on September 16 and 17, 2019. The two-day workshop, Ujjwal’s System of Productivity (USP), was held to help the officers and staff members re-engineer their minds and cope with life issues, during and after their service tenure. The event was an outcome of ADG (Prisons) Sunil Ramanand’s concern for jail staff. Trisharan Enlightenment Foundation, an NGO, responded to this concern and arranged the workshop as part of their social responsibility.

‘Achieving aspirations’

‘The workshop is about a scientific technique to achieve one’s aspirations. We begin by explaining the theory and then teaching the ways of applying it in real life. I’ve developed the technique over years of study and research. With my experience as an IAS officer, I want to help people on ways to direct positive commands and empower them in achieving their objectives in life’

‘Happy family lives’

‘Having such an experienced and skilled person as Ujjwal Uke to conduct this life skills workshop was very important. It’ll empower us and pave the path of contentment. I’m confident it’ll show positive changes in the lives of our officers. It’ll also give them happy family lives, which is our end goal — to have satisfied and happy officers’
