THEATRON 2026: Inside DPS R.K. Puram’s Annual Theatre Fest
Delhi Public School R.K. Puram’s prestigious Expressions Theatre Club hosted its annual inter-school theatre festival, THEATRON 2026 – Thirst for Theatre, on August 22, 2026. A vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination, and performance, the festival brought together talented young theatre enthusiasts from schools across Delhi-NCR and India.

The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Anamika Grover, a versatile singer and accomplished actor.
A Stage for Diverse Theatrical Talents
Featuring 12 distinctive online and on-site events, THEATRON provided participants with a dynamic platform to showcase their artistic prowess. Students competed across diverse facets of theatre, including acting, scriptwriting, music, dance, direction, improvisation, and stagecraft.
The audience—comprising esteemed jury members, participants, teachers, and members of the Expressions Theatre Club—was treated to a spectacular array of performances. From compelling monologues and thought-provoking mime acts to energetic ensemble productions, each performance reflected the students’ passion, confidence, and commitment.

The Valedictory Ceremony
The ceremony commenced with Ms. Sanya Taneja, Teacher In-charge of the Expressions Theatre Club, expressing her gratitude to the Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, for his constant encouragement. She also acknowledged the unflinching support of the Vice Principals—Mr. Naresh Miglani, Mr. Anil Kathuria, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, and Ms. Rashmi Malhotra—alongside the participating schools and jury members.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Ms. Anamika Grover shared enriching insights from her own experiences in the performing arts. She encouraged the young participants to pursue their creative journeys with passion and perseverance.
THEATRON 2026 Official Results
Delhi Public School Noida emerged as the Overall Winner of THEATRON 2026, earning the distinction through outstanding performances across the festival’s diverse events. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem.
